IRE and APEX in MECC Maastricht

The APEX aerial work platform exhibition and the International Rental Exhibition (IRE) take place from June 6 to 8 and form a ‘one-stop-shop’ for the purchase of the latest aerial work platforms, and rental of compact building materials, battery equipment, tools and digital technologies such as telematics and software.

More than 200 suppliers are represented at both fairs in Maastricht. No fewer than 120 exhibitors at the APEX and 80 exhibitors at the IRE. APEX exhibitors include Dingli, Genie, JLG, Haulotte, Holland Lift, Manitou, Riwal, Ruthmann, Skyjack, Snorkel, Versalift and XCMG. IRE exhibitors include Atlas Copco, Case Construction, Ditch Witch, Generac, Hitachi, JCB, Kaeser, Trackunit, Volvo CE and Yanmar CE.

The two shows were last held in 2017, after being canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic. In addition to the APEX (www.apexshow.com) and IRE (www.ireshow.com), the annual convention of the European Rental Association (ERA) also takes place in the MECCC. This will be held on June 7 and 8, including the European Rental Awards on June 7.

Tony Kenter, Managing Director of Industrial Promotions International B.V (IPI), which co-organises the exhibitions with KHL Group of England, says the program and the format of the shows are timely in light of current global challenges. “The shows will help rental companies and contractors to realize the current energy transition.”
